dc.description.abstractEn análisis de las problemáticas en torno a las instituciones de salud, el grupo investigador determina como un factor prioritario, común y de interés para las profesiones, las instituciones, la salud pública y la comunidad en general, el tema de las infecciones. En la actualidad todas las instituciones de salud enfrentan un reto al combatir de manera efectiva y buscando el equilibrio costo-efectividad, las infecciones intrahospitalarias. A partir de esta reflexión y la lluvia de ideas en tormo a los integrantes y con base en la necesidad, se prioriza y determina que el enfoque del estudio será la intervención a nivel hospitalario de los costos en torno a la infección intrahospitalaria producida por un microorganismo del cual no se conoce más información que pueda ser tomada como punto de referencia para generar planes de acción y mejoras frente al manejo y control de dicho microorganismo.spa
dc.description.abstractIn analyzing the problems surrounding health institutions, the research group determines as a priority factor, common and of interest for the professions, institutions, public health and the community in general, the issue of infections. Currently, all health institutions face a challenge in combating in an effective way and looking for a cost-effectiveness balance, intra-hospital infections. Based on this reflection and brainstorming around the members and based on the need, it is prioritized and determined that the focus of the study will be the intervention at the hospital level of the costs around the intra-hospital infection produced by a microorganism Of which no more information is known that can be taken as a point of reference to generate action plans and improvements in the management and control of said microorganism. The methodology of this study is descriptive, retrospective, cross-sectional, with the aim of evaluating the economic impact on health that the management of this type of infection represents for the Hospital Universitario Clínica San Rafael, with a sample of 55 adult patients. that during the course of July 2019 to July 2021 they have had cultures of samples that were positive for Candida haemulonii (given the technology for microbiological reading, these correspond to Candida auris).eng
